Satin gives you much of the slip of silk at a lower price. The surface is smooth enough to reduce friction meaningfully, which makes the Punch a sensible choice for overnight wear and for tying off the ends of braids — the place a rough tie does the most damage.

We make this one in Classic and Mini only. Satin's finish works best in a tighter gather; at XXL it loses definition and starts to look slack.

No - Punch is available in Classic and Mini only. Classic is the everyday size for medium-thickness hair and full ponytails. Mini suits half-up styles, braid ends and children's hair. For an XXL in a similar glossy finish, look at our silk range.

Hand wash in cool water, or use a gentle machine cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Air dry. Do not iron directly on the satin - it will mark the sheen.

Close, for most purposes. Satin polyester gives you a similarly smooth, low-friction surface, so it reduces snagging and frizz much as silk does. Real silk is still gentler and breathes better, but satin survives frequent washing far more easily and costs less - a sensible trade if you will not hand wash.
